Indira Gandhi Zoological park

   

      There is a Beast most ferocious who’s known far and wide as spotted atrocious who growls, howls, and yowls the most bloodcurdling sounds and each tooth in his mouth weighs at least sixty pounds. You know who is he??? Exactly its an Elephant in the zoo.

          Indira Gandhi Zoological park is located amidst Kabalakonda Reserve Forest in Visakhapatnam. This Zoological park is named after the Former Prime Minister of India, Mrs. Indira Gandhi. It is situated in Visakhapatnam amidst the scenic Eastern Ghats on 3sides and Bay of Bengal on the Fourth side. It covers an area of 625acres. Nearly eighty Species of animals numbering to about eight hundred are present in the Zoo. The zoo park has different sections for primates, carnivores, small mammals, reptiles, ungulates and birds caged in their natural ambiance. There is also an education center Bioscope in order to raise awareness among the visitors about the wildlife. The center has an auditorium screening film shows, library and interpretation center.

     So let’s all go walking, having fun whole day through, as we go our field trip, to the friendly city Zoo.
